Spring Banquet is to honor the 2011 Greene County Scholarship winners.

Take exit 22 from I-675 toward Fairborn. Turn right at traffic light onto Yellow Springs-Fairfield Road, just after passing Ali Industries on the right. Follow Yellow Springs-Fairfield Road around a sweeping right curve and go under I-675. Turn left onto Roehner Dr. after passing under I-675, just past a Fairborn Fire Station. Follow Roehner Dr. as it bears right and goes through a park and into a Parking lot at Lions Den. Go through parking lot and make first right turn just before the Rona Community Church. Park in lot behind church. If church lot is full, loop around church and take a left turn on Rona Parkway. Rona Parkway will return you to the parking lot by the Lions Den. You may park there.

Dr. Susan Wagner, Professor, OSU College of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Susan Wagner is a board certified veterinary neurologist whose pioneering studies acknowledge the spiritual interaction between people and animals. She blends science, spirituality and the wisdom of the animal kingdom. Dr. Wagner is a much sought after public speaker in the areas of music therapy for animals, energy theory, healing and spirituality.

She received her DVM from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, as well as a MS in Veterinary Clinical Sciences and board certification in veterinary neurology. After practicing academic and private specialty veterinary medicine, Dr. Wagner's interest in public health fueled contributions to human disciplines. She spent time with OSU Managed Health Care Systems as research coordinator, and worked with the Faculty and Staff Wellness Program, The Wellness Collaborative and The OSU Integrative Health and Wellness Initiative.

Dr. Wagner recently co-authored a book entitled Through a Dog's Ear: Using Sound to Improve the Health and Behavior of Your Canine Companion, and was research director for the Through A Dog's Ear CD series. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University Veterinary College, the human-animal bond expert on Care2.com, and has been interviewed on CBS Early Morning and The Today Show on NBC.
