Join us for our 2010 OSU Hockey Event on February 27!

It's OSU Men’s Ice Hockey Season and we have lower bowl tickets to the biggest game of the year. That’s right, OSU vs. Miami, OH!  On Saturday, February 27 the Buckeyes take on the RedHawks at the Jerome Schottenstein Center. We will be joining 11 other OSU Societies at the Longaberger Alumni House for a tailgate that includes pizza from Papa John’s, salad, soda and dessert as well as entertainment from the OSU Alumni Marching Band, OSU cheerleaders and of course, Brutus. There will also be Wii games set up for children and a raffle for some great prizes that benefits the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.  This event has been a lot of fun in the past so join us for a night of fun, food and OSU Ice Hockey (a cash bar will also be available at the tailgate).

Cost for the event is as follows: $15/adult, $11/child age 3-12, and $4 each for children under 3.  These prices include a game ticket and a wristband to the tailgate at the Longaberger Alumni House (which includes food and beverage described above).  Parking at the Longaberger Alumni House is FREE.

You must RSVP for this event. Due to the past popularity of the event and limited number of available tickets, you will need to send in the order form (available in the “Links” section of this website) along with payment.  The deadline for RSVP’s is Thursday, February 11.

What is MEAS?

Formed in 1986, MEAS is a chartered society of The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. Our mission is to provide scholarship assistance, awards, social activities, and professional fellowship for the alumni, students, faculty and friends of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Ohio State University.

We accomplish this by sponsoring a wide variety of activities and annual awards for students and alumni. Although we obtain some support from The Ohio State University Alumni Association, we are an independent organization, and we rely on our members to support our many exciting  and rewarding activities.
