FOOTBALL GAME WATCH PARTIES AT FLAPPERS IN MOUNT VERNON.

BUCKEYE NATION continues to join our Alumni Club at Flappers for GAME WATCH PARTIES.
Cheer on the Buckeyes with the Knox County Alumni Club for the remaining games. Besides cheering at the large screen TVs, there is a 50/50 raffle, great food (with a deal for the day), and a raffle for other prizes.
The September 17 party, topped off our participation in the OSU Founder's Day celebration. After collecting food and cash at Kroger in the morning, we ended the food drive at Flappers having added over 100 pounds of food and $147.10 to the pantry at the Salvation Army. That is true BUCKEYE SPIRIT!

BUCKEYE SPIRIT EVENT 2011

The Knox County Alumni Club hosted its annual Buckeye Spirit Event on Tuesday, October 18. This year's event featured former football coach, John Cooper. The crowd of over 220 welcomed members of the OSU Marching Band led by director Dr. Jon Woods, Brutus and Buckeye cheerleaders, as well as crowd favorites Buckeyeman, L. L. Woody, and L. L. Tressel. Former quarterback Greg Frey served as auctioneer as we raised the money to continue our scholarship program.
