KNOX COUNTY RECEIVES AWARDS
At the recent Ohio State Alumni Association Leadership Conference, our Knox County Club received an OUTSTANDING CLUB Award. Past President Dave Daniels was also recognized as a BUCKEYE ALL-STAR. These awards demonstrate that the club's activities in the community and support of students through our scholarship program are being recognized.

Past and current presidents Dave Daniels and Karen Wise accept the club's award from Archie Griffin. Jan Schild and Brutus joined the party later.
PICNIC WITH THE POPS
Members and friends of the OSU Alumni Club of Knox County enjoyed an outstanding evening when the OSU Marching Band joined the Columbus Symphony for a Picnic with the Pops concert on July 31. Great weather added to the enjoyment of wonderful music, Buckeye favorites, and oldies sing-along, with a finale of fireworks. Thanks to Liz and Roger Dumaree for once again making arrangements so our club could enjoy the return of this traditonal summer outing.

In July OSU's President E. Gordon Gee, stopped in Knox County for breakfast with area legislators, alumni, benefactors, and representatives from the OSU Extension Office.
Club members enjoyed his wit and story-telling in addition to a delicious meal at the Red Fox Inn near Danville.
