KNOX COUNTY ALUMNI ANNUAL DINNER
Jack Park, OSU football expert and radio commentator,
was well received as he shared stories of OSU's athletic past.
The Mount Vernon Country Club was the site for our Dinner on October 25.
The dinner also marked the passing of the gavel
from out-going president Tom Albaugh to our current president, Robia Kaylor.

| The first-ever scholarship drive came to a successful end on July 21 at Flappers when seven names were drawn. These contributors now have the opportunity to purchase two game tickets to an OSU football game. Over $3200 was added to our scholarship account making this by far our largest fund raising event.
Thanks to all who donated to the fund!! At right, President Tom Albaugh holds the bucket of entries as member Andy Franz draws the first winning name.

PICNIC WITH THE POPS 2007
It was another fun-filled evening of great entertainment and fellowship when the Knox County Club attended Picnic with the Pops on August 3rd. Liz and Roger Dumaree are to be commended for organizing the event that brought out 50 of our members and friends to see the OSU Marching Band join forces with the Columbus Symphony. Because we had such a large group, we were assigned a reserved seating area facing the stage, not on the side.
There was plenty of food and conversation to share before the concert. Following the symphony's performance in the first half, the OSUMB marched right past us on the way to the stage. As always, the Buckeye faithful cheered as they played Ohio State standards. Then we were entertained by the high quality performance as the symphony and band combined. And afterwards was a terrific fireworks display. It's easy to see why this event continues to attract more of our members each year!
