:: Scholarships

We promote Ohio State by awarding scholarships to incoming freshmen and upper class students currently enrolled at Ohio State.  We do this by participating in the university's Alumni Scholars Program (ASP).

Ross County resident students applying for the scholarships must already be admitted to the university. Freshmen applicants should rank in the top 25% of his or her high school class while upperclassmen must have a sophomore rank or higher with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.  All applicants must have written recommendations, have a record of performance in activities both in school and in the community, have good interview skills, and be a resident or attend high school in Ross County.

Each application is screened and interviewed by the scholarship committee.  The winners are chosen by strict and consistent guidelines.  All students that meet these criteria are encouraged to apply (application form here).

The OSU Alumni Club of Ross County awards both underclassmen and upperclassmen scholarships. If you or someone you know is interested in applying for our scholarship program, please send us an email to ross@alumni-osu.org.
