The Ohio State University Alumni Club
of the Sacramento Valley

The Sacramento Valley Buckeyes take pride in their ability to support a scholarship program for local students who have been accepted to attend the Ohio State University.

Funds for the scholarship program are generated in a variety of ways:

- Game watch raffles of OSU merchandise

- An annual Holiday party and Silent Auction

- Sales of club merchandise

- Annual membership dues

During the last six years the club has raised over $12,000. Many thanks to our supportive board, members, and fans. During the last three years, the Club gave out seven scholarships totaling $8,500 to local students who were attending Ohio State. Congratulations to our recent scholarship recipients:

 

- 2011: Graham Lyon, Kelli Hagar, and Natalia White

- 2010: Yi-Ling Shen from Stockton, Christopher Holm of Colfax, and Graham Lyon from Granite Bay

- 2009: Michael J. Hayne from Johensen High School

- 2008: Anastacia Roczniak from Davis, Emily Cheng from Gold River, and Jillian from Oakdale

- 2007: Rachael Holm, Leticia Wiggins and Alexandra DeBusk

How do we find students? We participate at high school college fairs, deliver information to school counselors and rely on YOU to let us know if your son or daughter or the child of a friend or colleague is interested in Ohio State.
