To Improve OSU
Mingling and networking took place before, during, and after dinner at the Lighthouse at Olmos Park and club officers met some Buckeyes they hadn't known before.
In keeping with our motif, the meeting room was serendipitously decorated in scarlet/red and the chef prepared special O-shaped scarlet and gray raspberry cake pastries for our group at the buffet-style dinner.
Trainers included Nadine Holmes, the University's Director of Student Recruitment, Diana Martin, Assistant Director for Alumni Relations, and Ben Fortner, Admissions Counselor for the Texas region.
Other attendees included Leslie Reed, the president of the Austin Alumni club, plus the Austin club's scholarship chair. Topics covered included undergraduate admissions, the freshman profile, college fair procedures, athletic compliance and recruitment activities.
