Buckeye Beach Clean Up Events

For all beach cleanups, please wear comfortable clothes, closed toed shoes and sunscreen. All volunteers are welcome to participate and must sign a liability waiver, but volunteers under 18 MUST have a parent or guardian present at the beginning of the cleanup sign a liability waiver before the minor can participate.
Beach Clean Up - June 23, 2007
The local OSU Alumni Club and San Diego Coastkeeper teamed up for a beach cleanup at Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach. For this event, we met on the north side of the pier. All volunteers were given free passes to the San Diego Country Fair. The group met for lunch at Moondoggies after the event.

Beach Clean Up - October 28, 2006
Again, OSU volunteers joined up with Surfrider Foundation and San Diego Coastkeeper before the Minnesota game to make the beach better. Thanks to all who volunteered their time!

Beach Clean Up - June 24, 2006
San Diego Buckeyes met at Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach to clean up. OSU volunteers joined up with Surfrider Foundation and San Diego Coastkeeper to do something great! Plus, all volunteers got free passes to the San Diego County Fair just for showing up - cool!
