Dr. Bob Stocklin was one of the real mainstays of the SD Alumni Club; he always wanted to say yes to any requests to help. But, beyond that he was simply one of the nicest people you could meet. He was both Past President and Treasurer and a regular at our Saturday gatherings at Moondoggie's, usually with his son Scott. We have lost a great friend.A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 11th at 11 AM at St. Thrse of Carmel Catholic Church, 4355 Del Mar Trails Road, San Diego, CA 92130. A Memorial Mass and burial will be held later in Columbus, Ohio. Donations to Father Joe's Villages, St. Vincent de Paul, 3350 E St., San Diego, CA. 92102-3332.
