If you purchased Rose Bowl tickets and got a payment confirmation, your tickets are confirmed and should be picked up. Bus pick up times are posted below. Ticket Purchase Information
The Ohio State Buckeyes will take on the Oregon Ducks at the 2010 Rose Bowl on Friday, January 1st! Game time is 1:30 pm.
The Ohio State Alumni Club of San Diego has been allotted a limited number of tickets for the 2010 Rose Bowl game. All tickets have been sold. The cost of each ticket is $180. Once purchased, the ticket order cannot be returned.
Approximate breakdown of ticket cost:
+ Ticket face value: $155
+ Alumni Association fee: $10 (not the same as membership dues)
+ San Diego Club donation fee: $10 (proceeds support the club scholarship fund)
+ Payment processing fee: $5 (credit card through PayPal)
All ticket submissions will be audited. You must be a member of the San Diego Club and the OSU Alumni Association to be eligible. Ticket purchaser must live in the San Diego / Southern California area. If you are not eligible, you will be notified and the ticket face value will be returned.

If you already purchased Rose Bowl tickets and got a payment confirmation, your tickets are confirmed.

Ticket Details
Seat location: Tunnel 13. (and a very few other sections)
Ticket delivery: Tickets are in San Diego. Please plan to pick up your tickets at one of the four pick up options below.
1) Tuesday, 12/22, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Giovanni's Restaurant (9353 Clairemont Mesa Blvd) just west of I-15.
2) Wednesday, 12/23, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Giovanni's Restaurant (9353 Clairemont Mesa Blvd) just west of I-15.
3) Thursday, 12/31, 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Starbucks Coffee (7035 Clairemont Mesa Blvd) just east of I-805.
4) If you are riding a San Diego Buckeye bus, you can pick up your tickets on game day on the bus.

FAQ
- Will we have access to the bus during the tailgate? -- Yes
- Can we leave things in the bus during the game? -- Yes, the bus drivers will stay with the bus during the game, so items left there should be safe.
- Are water, soda, or food allowed to be brought into the Rose Bowl stadium for the game?
The Rose Bowl stadium policies are printed here. This is a snippet from the website:
"The following items are not permitted into the Rose Bowl Stadium: any backpacks, handbags, etc., larger than 14”x14”, banners, signs, cans, glass bottles, thermoses,
coolers, alcoholic beverages, large still cameras, video cameras, noisemakers of any kind, umbrellas, beach balls, soccer balls, footballs, frisbees, narcotics, firearms,
explosives or any other weapons. The stadium has the authority to prohibit any other items deemed to be a security risk. Patrons will be required to return such items to
their vehicles or to check them."
Game Day Travel Package Options
The Ohio State Alumni Club of San Diego will be offering two very easy and inexpensive bus tour options to Pasadena on January 1, 2010:
1) Rose Bowl Parade and Game (parade starts at 8:00 am)
2) Rose Bowl Game Only (kickoff at 2:00 pm)
We have contracted 2 busses for our transportation to and from Pasadena. You don't need to purchase your game tickets through the club to ride the bus. The bus packages do not include game tickets. Once purchased, bus seat fees cannot be returned.
Travel to Rose Bowl Parade and Game Option - $159 per person
- Includes First-Class, Premier Rose Bowl Parade seat located within the first 1/2 mile of the Rose Bowl Parade start. The face value of the parade ticket is $85 plus $3 reserved parking.
- Will depart and drop off from 2 San Diego County locations: Seau's in Mission Valley or La Costa Park and Ride along I-5 highway
- Morning Pickup: bus will depart Seau's at 4:00 am sharp - please arrive early; bus will depart La Costa Park and Ride at 4:30 am sharp - please arrive early;
- Evening dropoff: approx. 9:30 pm
- Coffee and doughnuts provided in the morning; ice coolers will be provided for drinks that you provide
- To keep costs down, please bring your own lunch, drinks, snacks for tailgate and food following the game
- Does not include Rose Bowl game ticket
- Transportation from the parade to the game (approx. 1.5 miles) will be provided.

- Will depart and drop off from 2 San Diego County locations: Seau's in Mission Valley or La Costa Park and Ride along I-5 highway

Official Ohio State University Rose Bowl Pre-Game Tailgate
Where: Brookside Golf Course @ the 15th hole, adjacent to the Rose Bowl on the west side.
When: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
What: Hot buffet lunch featuring Grilled Chicken Breast, BBQ Pork, baked beans, fresh fruit salad, garden potato salad, cookies, beer, wine and soda.
Cost: $89 per person (no children's pricing)
Additional Information:
* Short program featuring University officials and special guests.
* Pre-registration for the event is required and there will be no day-of-sales.
* There is time to get from the Rose Parade to the Pre-game.
* No transportation is provided to the event.
* This event is open to all Ohio State alumni, students, faculty, staff and fans.
