Text Box: The football ticket raffle of 2006 is over and has been deemed a success by the powers that deem these sorts of things. The chance of winning tickets to watch The Ohio State University Buckeyes challenge some of the best the Big Ten and other conferences must have been as intriguing to others as it was to me. Once again I left Scudzy’s with less money in my pocket, no tickets to see our mighty Buckeyes, and a smile on my face because I know that this was one of the most successful raffles our club has ran to date. The raffle has been the single biggest fundraiser of the year and it is something that most of us look forward to. It is Text Box: easy to ask for donations when you offer the person a chance to win tickets to see The Buckeyes playing in “The Shoe”. A lot of hard work and effort went into making this such a success, so thanks to Text Box: everyone that bought, sold, or advertised this campaign. Text Box: Text Box: One of the BIG MEN on campus Starting center for our top ranked Buckeyes, Doug Datish, has started at all three interior offensive line positions in his career as a Buckeye. Moving to center this year to fill the void left by first round draft pick Nick Mangold, Doug is on his way to helping Troy Smiths’ job of guiding the Buckeyes through a treacherous Big Ten schedule a little easier.
