Annual raffle drawing at Scudzy’s!
Thanks again to everyones efforts and donations that help make this our biggest fundraiser event of the year. Once again we had a nice turnout for the drawing and would like to thank everyone who bought tickets in support of our scholarship fund. Not everyone can win, but these folks did!

Night Golf cancled for this year.
For those of you that have played in our night golf tournaments in the past, you know what fun they are, and we wanted to bring that fun back, but the change in the OSU vs. Indiana game has forced us to look to next year to bring back the competition.
OSU vs. Purdue
The Sidney Elks are selling a package deal for October 17th, that includes game ticket, transportation, Chicken dinner, and beverages for $125 for Elks members, and $130 for non-members. This is a great deal, and a chance to see our Buckeyes take on a Big Ten Foe. Please contact the Sidney Elks, or Fred Billing for more information. GO BUCKEYES!!

We are looking for people that would be willing to help write articles that we can put into our newsletters, and post on our web page. Ohio State vs. Michigan
A few changes have been made to our square board, and what started out to be $50 squares have been lowered to $25, with all squares being sold out. If you have purchased a square please read the following article.

Don’t miss your chance to win $2,000.00. The Shelby County OSU Alumni Club will be running an OSU vs Michigan Fundraiser Square Board for the 2009 OSU vs Michigan football game. Our Alumni Club will generate $500.00 from this fundraiser.
We will also be having a Fundraiser party for that game at the Sidney Boat Club. (A map will be made available) Please check our website for further details at www.alumni-osu.org/shelby. All proceeds from the Fundraiser will go towards maintaining our Presidents Club status and scholarships for local Shelby county students that attend Ohio State University in the future. Squares may be purchased prior to the game from any
Shelby County OSU Alumni Club Board member.
All Squares must be sold in order for this fundraiser to take place prior to Oct. 13th. If all the Squares are not sold by Oct. 13th, all money will be refunded. We have open positions available now on our Fundraiser
Square Board for the OSU vs Michigan game Now!!
For $25.00 you can purchase (1) square to obtain a position on the Board, which will be drawn after all of the (100) Squares have been sold. You may purchase as many Squares as you would like. (4) different sets of numbers will be drawn for each participant for each Qtr. In other words, your numbers will change each Qtr. With your purchase, you will have a chance to win all of theses different ways at any time during the OSU vs Michigan totaling $2,000.00.
- $250.00 for correct score at the end of each Qtr.
- $25.00 for the reverse score at the end of each Qtr.
- $10.00 for every score during the game.
Losers Pool
All participants names that did not win anything during the game will be put into a pool. Names will be drawn out of this pool one at a time at $10.00 intervals until whatever amount of money is left from the $2,000.00 is gone. There is a 80% payout ratio for participating in this Fundraiser.
