BCS Bowl Watch      January 7, 2008

The Game Watch for the BCS Bowl between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the LSU Tigers will be held at Wing Warehouse Sports Bar and Grille at 4165 Wyoga Lake Road, Stow.  (at the corner of Steels Corners Road)

Reverse Raffle      Friday, February 15, 2008

    The annual Reverse Raffle will be at Guy's Party Center.  Tickets are $50 each and may be purchased from any of the club officers.  The event starts with a cash bar at 6:00 P.M.  Dinner is at 7:00 P.M. and the raffle begins at 8:00 P.M.  Each ticket entitles you to dinner and a chance to win.   Profits help fund our scholarship awards.

Night at the Races      April 25, 2008

Consider joining your fellow Buckeyes from the Ohio State Alumni Club of Summit County at our spring social, Night at the Races.

Gates open at 6:00 P.M. at Northfield Park, 10705 Northfield Road, Northfield, Ohio.  The evening begins with Buckeye fellowship and a buffet dinner all in a heated club house. The races can be viewed from the club house and begin around 7:00 P.M.   The cost is $25.00 and includes admission to the park, parking and dinner.

Akron Aeros Game     Tuesday, May 20, 2008

Come join the club and the Scottish Rite Masons for an evening at Canal Park. Gates open at 6:00 P.M. A double play picnic dinner begins the evening with the game following at 7:05 PM. Tickets for the game and picnic are $20.00. The Outback Express Wines from Australia    August 15, 2008

The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Grape Express Trains sell out very quickly. Reservations must be made two months in advance. The Outback Express will depart from Boston Mills at 7 P.M. on August 15. A number of wines from Australia will be introduced and served following a description of the grapes and where they are grown in Australia. Hors d'oeuvres will be served with the wines. If you wish to participate in this event you must be at least 21 and send you reservations by June 1, 2008.
