Fiesta Bowl Watch Party @ Benchwarmers!

Benchwarmers is putting together a very appetizing buffet starting at 7:30 PM and running to the start of 3rd quarter. For $8.95 per person, it’s all you can eat. The buffet will consist of tossed salad; relish tray; assorted chicken wings (bbq, terri-yaki, buffalow, ets), Swedish meatballs w/egg noodles, baked ziti, loaded potato skins, Philly style shaved rib-eye w/peppers & onions, assorted desserts. Beer specials will be available for Ohio State Fan Club members. And of course, we will have a beefed up raffle at half time!
Buckeyes Headed Back to Fiesta Bowl!
December 8th, 2008For the fifth time in seven years, Ohio State’s football team will end their season in Arizona. On January 5th, 2009 the Big Ten Co-Champion Buckeyes will play in a BCS bowl for an impressive sixth time in seven years as they take on the 3rd ranked Texas Longhorns who many feel should be playing the BCS National Championship Game. It’s yet another great bowl game to cap off another succeful Buckeye football season. It also offers the chance to prove a great deal to the skeptics who have seen the last two Ohio State seasons end disapointingly on a national stage.

HOW TO APPLY
Alumni Association members have two ways to apply for the tour:
1. Visit Ohio State Alumni Sports Travel to complete an online reservation form or download a faxable form.
2. Call the Bowl Tour hotline at (614) 292-4200 or toll-free (877) 373-7801. After an official announcement is made on Sunday, Dec. 7, phone lines will be open until 8 p.m. Central time. Regular Bowl Tour hotline hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time.
Your credit card will be charged as soon as your Alumni Association membership status is confirmed. These are nonrefundable charges.

November 26th, 2008…Some pretty good numbers and records that came out of the Buckeyes latest romp over scUM! This rivalry really is one-sided now, and in favor of the good guys. It was a great day for the SWFL Alumni Club as well. The taigate party at Benchwarmer’s was a smashing success as our local Buckeye fans cheered Tress’s troops on to a big win. Information on a bowl game watch party a possibly a few basketball watch parties should be coming soon - Go Bucks!!!!
