Jeff Fuscardo

President

Jeff was born and raised in Wheeling, WV. He completed his BA in Aviation Management in 1992. After flight instructing at Ohio State, he moved to Florida to pursue his aviation career. Currently, Jeff is a pilot for UPS. He flies the Boeing 767 on international routes taking him around the world. Jeff has lived in Ft. Myers since 2001 with his wife and two sons.

Jami Atley

1st Vice President

Jami was born and raised in Clinton County. She graduated from OSU in the Winter of ‘97 with a B.S. in Horticulture. She moved to Fort Myers, FL after graduation and has worked in the landscape maintenance field for the past 10 years. She is a Certified Arborist and an FNGLA Certified Horticulture Professional.

Jill Klausing

2nd Vice President

My name is Jill Klausing and I am originally from Napoleon, Ohio. I had such a blast gaining knowledge at OSU that I decided to stay for a super senior year and graduated in 1999 with a major in Communications. I am a high school reading teacher and new mom to the littlest Southwest Buckeye member, Kate. My husband Clay and I live in Cape Coral and spend our free time singing “Hang on Sloopy”.

Cathy Hamilton

Secretary

Born in Indianapolis IN, Cathy is the mother of four and grandmother of ten. She moved to SWFL in 2001, while working for National City Bank, before she retired in 2003. Currently, as a licensed Mortgage Broker, and an Independent Agent for United First Financial, she enjoys helping people get the best rates for their real estate financing, and showing them how to pay it off in half the time. Her hobbies include dancing, travelling, Buckeye sports and meeting other Buckeyes around the world. Go Bucks!

Dana Vidussi

Treasurer

Dana was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He completed his B.A. in 1978 (on the five and a half year plan). He moved to Fort Myers in 1982 and after working 19 years at a large local CPA firm, he started his own firm, Dana Vidussi, CPA, P.A. in 2002. He has been treasurer of our Club since 1995. Dana has a wife, Denise and two sons, Nick and Brandon.

Mary Thomas

Past President

Mary received her BSc. in Education from The Ohio State University with a major in communications. After teaching in her hometown of Toledo, she obtained her State certification in speech and hearing therapy from BGSU. She set up the speech program in the Sylvania School District and later set up a State approved work study program in the Big Walnut School District. Her son received both his BSc and MA degrees from OSU, while her daughter is a graduate of Indiana University with an MA from Winthrop University. Mary is currently a private tutor specializing in reading and math and resides in Cape Coral, FL.

Chad Gillen

Director

Chad was born in Findlay, Ohio and grew up in Toledo. After graduating in 1990 with an accounting degree he returned to Toledo and joined the public accounting firm Ernst & Young. In 1993, Chad and his wife Lesley moved to Southwest Florida where he joined the firm Coopers & Lybrand. He then started with Abbey Carpet Co., Inc in 1998 and is currently the accounting manager for Abbey Carpet and its affiliated companies. Chad and Lesley are the parents of Nate, born in 1999; and Emma, born in 2004. The Gillen’s are residents of Estero.

John Pilarski

Director

John was born and raised in Medina , Ohio .  He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1992 with a degree in economics.

He moved to Fort Myers in 1995 to begin practicing law.  He co-founded Barcelona & Pilarski, P.A. in 2001 with wife Vanessa, where he practices estate and business planning law.  John and Vanessa have two Buckeyes.  Jack was born just in time to enjoy the 2002 championship run and six year old Luke will probably be driving to the game if he ever sees Michigan beat Ohio State in his lifetime.

Bob Shope

Director

Born in Toledo (Thank God its not in Michigan). Graduated from the University of Toledo. Happily married to Tina with 10 grand kids and 5 grown kids between us. Vice president of Support Services with Child Care of Southwest Florida. Very good looking and often mistaken for that Timberlake guy.
