FOOTBALL BANQUET/ANNUAL MEETING

At the Annual Meeting prior to the Akron football game, the election of officers and board members for the year 2008 was held. Doug Davis made the motion to nominate the following officers, and to elect the following members to the Board of Directors for the term 2008-2012. Dave Straub seconded the motion. A vote was held among the members present at the meeting, and the results of the election are as follows:

President: Scott Jackson

Vice-President: Doug Davis

Treasurer: Bill Coombs

Secretary: Chad Ostheimer

 

Board Members: Scott Jackson, Harry Thomas, Don Mackling

 

Dr. Carolyn Merry gave a summary of department news from the past year, and plans for the future. President Keith Banachowski gave a summary of the CE Alumni Association's accomplishments during the past year. Joe Cohen presented the Outstanding Alumni Award to Dave Edwards, and Harry Thomas presented the Outstanding Alumni Awards to Tom Croley.
