We are still looking for volunteers and we really need your help to make this an exceptional event, one to be unique from other past speaker events. Please fill out this form if you can help in any of the following capacities:
- Event planning (ideas or coordination)
- Budget planning/management
- Contact businesses/vendors to gather information on pricing and availability
- Venue search
- Contact businesses for silent auction items, raffle items, or sponsorships
- Create/plan decorations
- Create printed items such as program, registration form
- Write press release
- Set-up or clean up day of event
- Help during event
- Take pictures during event
- Write event summary for the printed newsletter (after event)
- Help with something we haven't thought of yet

After finishing second at the NCAA National Championships last season, The Ohio State Men's Tennis team is starting the 2010 season ranked third in the country. As they start their march to the Championships this year, they will be coming thru Waco, Texas. The Buckeyes will be playing the Baylor Bears on February 24th (Wednesday) at 4pm. We are hoping to get a group together to head up to Waco to cheer on the Buckeyes.
Last year, we had a small group attend the match. There was a hostile and loud Baylor crowd, but we were able to hold our own and they knew we were there. We saw some great tennis and the Buckeyes made us proud. There is a nice little rivalry between the Bears and Buckeyes. The Buckeyes knocked the Bears out of the NCAA Championships last year in the quarter finals, so they will be ready for revenge.
