The Ohio State Alumni Club of Austin has multiple scholarship options for Ohio State students from central Texas. Applications for the 2012-2013 academic year are due February 15, 2012.
Criteria for consideration include:
- Have submitted or will submit an application to The Ohio State University by January 1, 2012
- List his or her home address with the University as an address in Central Texas
- Be recommended by high school principals, counselors and/or teachers based on scholastic ability and character
- Have a record of performance in activities both in school and in the community

This year, the club awarded two scholarships. Jamie Evans graduated from Westlake High School and is enrolled in OSU's College of Business Honors Program. Jamie also received scholarships from our club her freshman, sophomore and junior years. Morgan Gamble graduated from Westwood High School and comes from a family of Buckeyes. She plans on majoring in psychology and attending medical school. She will be a freshman at OSU this fall. Congratulations Jamie and Morgan!

Help us continue to support current and future students by making tax-deductible donations directly to the fund set-up through the University. Check with your employer to see it they have a Matching Gift Program. These programs are a fabulous resource, and your benefits coordinator can usually provide all the necessary information to you so you can take advantage of their specific program.
Donate Online
You can make a secure donation through OSU's online giving program. Go to OSU's Online Giving website and search for Fund Number 312681. Follow instructions to donate directly to our fund.
Write a Check
If you prefer to write a check, make it out to The Ohio State University and write Fund Number 312681 in the memo line. Bring checks to a club event or mail them to:
